While maintaining the same range of motion as previous Movie Masterpiece figures, it reproduces the texture of the original mechanical armor from the film and the heavy, substantial feel it conveys. The armor, characterized by its metallic red and gold coloring, features a glossy paint job that shines on the alloy, along with weathering paintwork depicting fine dirt and scratches. Two heads are included. The first is a helmet with a light-up function. The second is a helmet with a newly sculpted Tony Stark face that can be opened to reveal the likeness of actor Robert Downey Jr. The air flaps on the back of the body and the air brakes on the legs can be opened and closed. The waist armor at the base of both thighs can be opened upwards to secure an even greater range of motion for the legs. The chest armor is removable, allowing you to appreciate the mechanical design inside. Furthermore, the face mask and chest armor can be replaced with battle-damaged parts to recreate various damaged states from the film. The eyes, chest arc reactor, and repulsor ray emitters on both hands feature white LED light-up gimmicks, while the chest and upper arm armor also have blue LED light-up gimmicks. The multi-barreled guns deployed from both shoulders, the missiles on both forearms, and the laser beams on the backs of the hands can be recreated using replacement parts. The inclusion of laser beam effect parts is a welcome bonus. Additionally, by using the interchangeable hand parts with articulated finger joints that support repulsor ray light-up, as well as the hand parts for when the repulsors are firing, you can enjoy a wide variety of immersive battle scenes. The diorama-style base recreates the suit removal device found in Stark Tower in New York, and the stairs feature LED light-up functionality. This special edition allows you to enjoy the world of the film even more. Of course, since it's the same scale as previous Movie Masterpiece figures, you can display it alongside your existing collection.
