Based on "Alien vs. Predator," the second Samurai Predator has been created, with design by the master of sculpting, Takayuki Takeya, and prototype creation by the talented Yuji Oniki! The Red Oni Samurai Predator (Takayuki Takeya x Yuji Oniki) is here! The setting is the Sengoku period of Azuchi-Momoyama. The Alien controlled by Oda Nobunaga, the Sixth Heavenly Demon King who aims to unify the country, and the Predator, a solitary warrior who has arrived in this era, are engaged in a fierce battle to the death. The Red Oni Samurai Predator is set to be equipped with "red armor," which was worn by brave warlords and elite troops during the Sengoku period. Based on the Predator from "Alien vs. Predator," Takayuki Takeya has created an original design for the Red Oni Samurai Predator, which has been brought to life as a high-end 1/6 scale figure, standing approximately 35cm tall and featuring over 22 points of articulation! The crimson helmet and armor, inspired by the Japanese "Akazonae" (red armor), are rendered with new paintwork by Takeya. The helmet can be transformed into different styles by swapping out two types of face masks. The grotesque head when the helmet is removed is hand-painted to recreate the distinctive skin texture reminiscent of reptiles and amphibians. The jaw is articulated, and the expression can be changed by swapping parts. The equipment and decorations on the armor are exquisitely detailed, from the plasma cannon on the left shoulder, the wrist blade on the right arm, to the Alien tongues bundled at the waist as spoils of war. The wrist blade is removable. A metal sword that can be sheathed at the waist is included as a weapon. It also comes with a sword whose blade has been corroded by alien bodily fluids, and a bundle of four swords that can be attached to the back. Furthermore, it includes an accessory: the severed head of a defeated alien. The tongue attached to the head is removable. Combined with the various interchangeable hand parts, you can recreate a variety of situations. The base is a diorama featuring the remains of a defeated alien. This ultimate collaboration between Hot Toys and a top Japanese creator marks the return of the Samurai Predator after 12 years.
