The first release is a meticulously crafted 3D rendition of War Machine, whose form alone evokes anticipation for his role in the film. War Machine is the powered suit modified for combat by Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes, a close friend and confidant of Iron Man (Tony Stark). In addition to Iron Man's traditional capabilities, War Machine employs a flexible system that allows for equipment changes depending on the level of threat. Armored with a metallic gray special alloy and equipped with numerous firearms, this upgraded heavy-duty powered suit boasts a form that will appeal not only to Iron Man fans but also to robot and mecha enthusiasts. Standing approximately 30 cm tall, this item reproduces the heavy armament while boasting over 36 points of articulation, allowing for the reproduction of many of the gimmicks unique to a combat powered suit and enabling a variety of action poses. The eyes, chest arc reactor, and repulsor ray emitters on both hands feature light-up functions. The shoulder cannons and leg air flaps can be retracted into the armor. War Machine's most distinctive feature—the gatling gun mounted on the shoulder—rotates, allowing the barrel to be aimed in multiple directions. Two heads are included: the first is a helmet with a light-up function, and the second is a helmet revealing the face of Don Cheadle, who plays Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes, with his likeness rights cleared. In addition to hand parts with light-up functions, newly developed hand parts with articulated fingertips for realistic mechanical movements are also included.
