*Batman (TV Series)* (1966-1968) A TV series based on DC Comics' *Batman*, produced and broadcast in the United States from 1966 to 1968. The protagonist, Batman, was brilliantly portrayed by Adam West. As it was a children's program, it was full of comedic elements, and a distinctive feature was that sound effects appeared on the screen every time a punch landed during the fight scenes that always took place towards the end of the episode. In Japan, it was broadcast on Fuji TV from 1966 to 1967 under the title *Kaicho Ningen Batman* (Monster Bird Man Batman).
