[Product Introduction] Hot Toys' "Movie Masterpiece" series welcomes the legendary science fiction film "Star Wars" to its lineup! From "Episode IV: A New Hope," comes the Jawa & EG-6 Powered Droid (2-figure set)! The Jawas are the native inhabitants of the desert planet Tatooine. To survive in the harsh environment, they cover their faces and entire bodies with thick cloth, and their true faces remain shrouded in mystery. The Jawas are small, averaging about 1 meter tall, and are timid but extremely greedy. They patrol the desert in their sandcrawlers, collecting lost or abandoned droids and selling them to people. They captured R2-D2 and C-3PO, who crash-landed on Tatooine, and sold them to farmer Owen Lars. Owen entrusted their maintenance to his adopted son, Luke Skywalker, and from there, the wheels of fate began to turn. The EG-6 Powered Droid is, in a sense, a walking battery. People rarely notice them as they quietly go about their work here and there, but they are also present inside the Jawa Sand Rover, silently working at the moment of this fateful encounter. The Jawa from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope has been brought to life as a high-end 1/6 scale figure, standing approximately 21 cm tall and featuring over 20 points of articulation. The orange eyes that glow behind the thick hood have an LED light-up function. The strap with many pouches, the weathered brown robe, and the undergown, gaiters, and shoes hidden beneath are all faithfully reproduced down to the smallest detail. An ion blaster is included as a weapon. Accessories include the welding machine used to attach the control bolt to R2-D2 and the droid control device that restrained R2-D2. The control device can be stored in the strap. A variety of interchangeable hand parts with black gloves allow for the recreation of various scenes from the film. The dedicated base is a diorama-style recreation of a desert. Furthermore, this set includes an EG-6 Powered Droid, a high-end figure standing approximately 18 cm tall with over 8 points of articulation! Its gray body and metallic feet feature weathering effects that depict intricate scratches and dirt. The desert-themed base is paired with the Jawa's base. The Jawa, who unintentionally led to one of the most important encounters in the universe, and the EG-6 Powered Droid, silently working in the background, are masterpieces that Hot Toys has poured its latest technology and love into. Keep an eye out for future releases in Hot Toys' Star Wars series!
