Hot Toys' Tokyo flagship store, "Toy Sapiens," will have its grand opening in Harajuku on December 10, 2011. To commemorate the opening of "Toy Sapiens," which will become a new hub for toy culture, four limited-edition items have been decided! One of them is Bruce Wayne (Batsuit Begins version) from Hot Toys' "Movie Masterpiece" series, based on "Batman Begins." Batman in the Begins costume, which has been in high demand since its release, will be available in a limited edition of 700 units for domestic distribution. Standing approximately 30 cm tall and featuring over 30 points of articulation, the figure perfectly recreates Bruce Wayne's appearance when he first puts on the Batsuit. Two heads are included: the first is a newly sculpted Bruce Wayne head. Of course, the likeness rights of Christian Bale, who plays Bruce Wayne, have been cleared. The second is a Batman mask head. The face part of this head is interchangeable, allowing for changes in expression. Based on a military protective suit, the Batsuit and cape, custom-made by Bruce, are meticulously recreated with attention to silhouette and texture. Batman's signature secret weapons include a grappling gun that can be attached to his utility belt, Batarangs, and bombs. Fans will also appreciate the inclusion of equipment seen during Bruce's transformation into Batman, such as the ninja mask and climbing harness. A variety of interchangeable hand parts are included, allowing for numerous Batman-esque poses.
