Bu Jingyun, the son of a blacksmith, witnessed his parents being murdered in front of him when he was a child due to the machinations of Xiongba, the leader of the Tianxia Society, who aimed to dominate the martial arts world, and was taken in as a direct disciple. To express the magnificent physique he displays in the story, a seamless, muscular body is used. The qilin tattoo on his left arm is also faithfully reproduced. Its popularity extends beyond Hong Kong, with translations and publications in various countries around the world, including Asia, France, Italy, the United States, and Canada, and it has been adapted into films, dramas, and other media. The serialization continues to this day, and the novel has grown into a grand epic exceeding 50 volumes. It is not merely an action epic, but a work that is loved as much as "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," incorporating many lessons and philosophical ideas. Five hundred years ago in China, many martial artists and organizations vied for control of the martial arts world. Xiongba, the leader of one of these organizations, the Tianxia Society, one day summons the famous prophet Ni Bosatsu to predict his future.
