From the sci-fi action film "Alien vs. Predator," comes a 2.0 version of the Ancient Predator. Pre-orders start on August 23rd, 2014 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM on the "Toy Sapiens" special website! Thousands of years ago, the Predator came to ancient Earth, taught humanity construction technology, and was worshipped as a god. However, this was also a means to breed the universe's strongest creatures, the "Aliens," by sacrificing humans, and to enjoy hunting them. The Ancient Predator enjoyed hunting its ultimate prey, but was defeated by the countless Aliens that had multiplied too much. In this desperate situation, it self-destructed, taking the Aliens with it. Standing approximately 35 centimeters tall and featuring over 22 points of articulation, this figure brilliantly recreates the ancient Predator that fought a deadly battle against aliens on ancient Earth. The Predator's distinctive muscular body, with its characteristic patterns and skin texture reminiscent of reptiles and amphibians, is realistically rendered using industry-leading painting techniques. The hideous head is a new sculpt, and the expression can be changed by swapping out the fangs. The hair is made of rubber, allowing you to enjoy the messy texture of dreadlocks. Two different masks, the Predator's signature accessory, are included, allowing you to recreate the two ancient Predators that appeared in the film. The masks are removable and feature a light-up function. The armor worn all over the body is intricately sculpted down to the smallest detail. As weapons, it is equipped with large blades on both arms and a plasma cannon on its left shoulder. The wrist blade on the right arm can be retracted in three different ways by swapping out the parts. The extendable spear is impaled with an alien head, allowing you to recreate the memorable scene from the film where the spear is raised atop the pyramid. Furthermore, interchangeable hand parts are included for the six-bladed shuriken and dagger knife, allowing you to recreate a variety of battle scenes. The diorama-style base, designed to resemble a pyramid scattered with alien heads and human bones, is a special feature that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the world of the film. This ancient Predator, which was part of the early "Movie Masterpiece" series and whose re-release was eagerly awaited, has been "reborn" as version 2.0 after approximately seven years, thanks to Hot Toys' latest technology and unsparing dedication.
