[Product Introduction] The HOT TOYS 10th ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION “THE 1/6 SCALE RENAISSANCE DECADE” ≪TOKYO EVENT≫, a monster event, will be held at the Tokyo International Forum on December 25th and 26th, 2010. At the 10th ANNIVERSARY STORE appearing at this massive Hot Toys 10th anniversary exhibition, three limited-edition 10th-anniversary items will be on sale! One of these three items is "Tomodachi" from "20th Century Boys" from the new "Comic Masterpiece" series! This miraculous item, made possible only as a special project for the 30th anniversary of Big Comic Spirits, will be available in a limited edition of 2,500 worldwide, with 2,000 available at this event. "20th Century Boys," created by Naoki Urasawa, is a full-fledged science adventure manga that was serialized in Shogakukan's "Big Comic Spirits" from 1999 to 2006. This timeless masterpiece, which left its mark on the history of Japanese comics, was adapted into a three-part film in 2008. "Tomodachi" was the mastermind behind the terrorist attack known as the Bloody New Year's Eve, which involved biological weapons and giant robots, based on the Book of Prophecy. Starting as the leader of a religious group, rising to the position of party leader and then world president, "Tomodachi," who plots to conquer the Earth, has been brought to life in 3D under the supervision of Naoki Urasawa himself. Standing approximately 30 centimeters tall and featuring over 38 points of articulation, the figure perfectly recreates the unique and terrifying charm of "Tomodachi" as he appears in the original manga. Two interchangeable heads are included, recreating Fukube and the faceless Katsumata-kun. In addition, masks of "Ninja Hattori-kun" and "National Kid," for which copyrights have been cleared, are included, allowing you to enjoy memorable scenes from the story. The suit worn by "Tomodachi" in the costume is faithfully reproduced down to the silhouette, and a Space Special Investigation Team badge can be attached to the chest. The key items, the Book of Prophecy and the New Book of Prophecy, are reproduced in meticulous detail. Furthermore, accessories such as a curved spoon, a colored laser gun, and a robot control remote are included. Fans will also be pleased to know that a 1/6 scale "Big Comic Spirits" magazine, capable of actually reading "20th Century Boys," is included. Hot Toys has poured their respect for "20th Century Boys" and their sculpting skills into this meticulously crafted "Tomodachi." A chance to become friends with "Tomodachi" awaits you at the 10th ANNIVERSARY STORE! 【Product Specifications】 Manufacturer: Hot Toys Series Number: CM#01 Scale: 1/6 scale Size: Approximately 30 cm tall Weight: Approximately 450g (figure only), approximately 1.7kg (including packaging) Articulation Points: Approximately 30+ points Packaging: Closed box with cover Package Size: Approximately W25 x H38 x D11 (cm) Production Information: Limited to 2,500 units worldwide (2,000 units limited to domestic events / 500 units limited to Hong Kong events) Distribution Method: Hot Toys 10th Anniversary Event Exclusive Product Type: High-end 1/6 scale articulated figure Accessories (Weapons): Remote control for robot operation, laser gun Accessories (Other): Includes: Fukube's interchangeable head, Katsumata's interchangeable head, Book of Prophecy, New Book of Prophecy, Ninja Hattori-kun mask, National Kid mask, Space Special Investigation Team badge, bent spoon, Big Comic Spirits (1/6 scale), interchangeable hand parts (x6) Manufacturer/Distributor: Hot Toys Japan Co., Ltd.
