Brief Introduction
The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) was reorganized from the original 101st Airborne Division and is a lean, elite air assault force of the US Army. The division was first established as an airborne unit on the battlefields of World War II, was reorganized into an airmobile division during the Vietnam War, and was later established as an air assault division, using helicopters for air assault and rapid advance.
DID proudly presents the 1/6 WWII US Army 101st Airborne Division 506th PIR Lieutenant Buck, featuring a super realistic headsculpt with furrowed brows and a serious expression.
For Buck's outfit, he wears an M43 uniform and paratrooper trousers, a paratrooper helmet and a US Army winter jeep cap, brown jump boots, and an M1936 belt. The "Screaming Eagle" division sleeve patch is worn on his right arm, highly restoring the standard configuration of the WWII US 101st Airborne Division. In addition, the paratrooper helmet is optimized for airborne operations, helping prevent the helmet shell from shifting or coming off during jumps while cushioning impacts from landing and mid-air collisions, reducing the risk of severe head injuries. The wool jeep cap and wool scarf provide cold-weather warmth. The jump boots are made of genuine leather with a thick, natural feel. The outfit is richly detailed.
For weapons, the Thompson submachine gun offers excellent attributes: a high rate of fire and relatively high stability, and its performance can be enhanced with accessories. Both sides of the receiver feature engraved markings, making it one of the stronger submachine guns among transitional weapons. Also included is an easy-to-carry M1911 pistol with a genuine leather holster; it has unparalleled lethality and is reliable, durable, and easy to maintain. A bayonet with sheath-a one-strike lethal blade-and 2 grenades give Buck formidable combat capability.
For accessories, the 101st Airborne paratrooper is equipped with a large-capacity musette bag, a sharp and sturdy multi-function pick-mattock axe with canvas cover, canteen and canteen cover, mess kit, M1911 magazine pouch, a flashlight with light-up function, and a green BC-611 Handie-Talkie radio. The radio is an iconic portable FM handie-talkie of the WWII US Army and core communications equipment for airborne troops. A watch and cigarettes are also included. All accessories are exquisitely detailed.
Add Buck to your 101st Airborne collection today and let the "Screaming Eagles" return to the battlefields of WWII!
