[Product Introduction] Hot Toys' "Movie Masterpiece" series welcomes a new character to the iconic science fiction film franchise, Star Wars! From Episode IV: A New Hope, the protagonist Luke Skywalker, played by actor Mark Hamill, finally makes his appearance! Luke Skywalker, a young farmer living on the remote desert planet Tatooine, longed to escape his boring days working on his uncle Owen Lars' moisture extraction farm. His dream was to become a astronaut, but he had to give up on attending the academy because his uncle and aunt needed him. Then one day, Luke discovers that a mysterious message is hidden in a newly purchased droid, and he sets out to find it, embarking on an adventure that will determine his destiny. Standing approximately 28 cm tall and featuring over 30 points of articulation, this figure perfectly recreates the young Luke Skywalker, the new hope of the galaxy. The head sculpt, with its striking youthful yet determined features, has been approved for use by actor Mark Hamill. Each figure is hand-painted to recreate the texture of the skin, wrinkles, and hairstyle. The tunic and other clothing worn by the farmers on the planet Tatooine are meticulously crafted with attention to texture and detail. The figure also includes a hat, goggles, and poncho, essential for the water extraction work in harsh environments, as seen in a scene cut from the film. The hat can be worn seamlessly by swapping out the hair piece. As weapons, the figure comes with a lightsaber with an LED light-up function that recreates a slender blue blade, and an OFF mode lightsaber with the blade removed that can be worn at the waist. A long rifle is also included, allowing for a variety of situations to be recreated. Accessories such as macrobinoculars, a droid caller, the training helmet worn when Obi-Wan trained him on the Millennium Falcon, and a training remote are also included, which is a nice touch. With a variety of interchangeable hand parts, you can recreate various scenes from the film. Among the many Luke Skywalker items available, this item boasts a level of perfection that can truly be called the "definitive edition," a must-have piece that evokes the Force! Hot Toys proudly presents this 1/6 scale Star Wars series with pride and love. Keep an eye out for future releases in the lineup!
