Hot Toys' Tokyo flagship store, "Toy Sapiens," will have its grand opening in Harajuku on December 10, 2011. To commemorate the opening of "Toy Sapiens," which will become a new hub for toy culture, four limited-edition items have been decided! One of them is Iron Man Mark IV (Secret Project Version) from "Iron Man 2," part of Hot Toys' "Movie Masterpiece" series. With a gray-based coloring reminiscent of War Machine, the Mark IV exudes an artistic presence and will be released in a limited edition of 600 units for domestic distribution. Standing approximately 30 cm tall, the figure boasts over 36 points of articulation and reproduces many of the gimmicks and details of the Mark IV. The chest armor is removable, and the air flaps on the back, the flare launchers on the waist, and the air brakes on the legs can all be stored in the armor. The arm missile launchers newly adopted for the Mark IV are reproduced with detachable parts. The eyes, chest arc reactor, and repulsor ray emitters on both hands feature a white light-up function. Two heads are included: the first is a helmet with a light-up function, and the second is a head sculpt featuring the likeness of Robert Downey Jr., who played Tony Stark, with his likeness rights cleared. In addition to hand parts with light-up functions, there are also hand parts with articulated fingertips. Furthermore, accessories include gray-framed sunglasses and, in addition to a standard stand, a figure stand modeled after Stark's powered suit hangar with LED light-up function – a welcome bonus!
