Description
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman series, Ultraman (A Type) is now available from S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou), with a design based on body scan data from suit actor Bin Furuya!
This figure was designed using body scan data from Bin Furuya, the suit actor at the time the series aired, to accurately reproduce the proportions of Ultraman (A Type). In addition, the prototype was also sculpted by Yutaka Narita, who also worked on the S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Ultraman Tiga series, in collaboration with Tsuburaya Productions' Modeling Department LSS. Every detail, from the intricate overall balance body design to the distinctive facial features, has been meticulously recreated.
Soft parts in various places allows for a wide range of motion, letting you recreate lots of memorable scenes from the show. Placement of part break lines were closely examined in relation to the body balance and surface contours unique to Type A. This was done with the aim of creating an Ultraman (A Type) that more closely resembles his appearance in the series while still retaining the qualities of an action figure.
The effect parts for the Spacium Beam, used Ultraman (A Type) in the "Ultraman" show, have been designed based on the beam's appearance in the first 13 episodes. Also included are effect parts for the Ultra Water Stream, their design based on the effect's appearance in episode 13, "Oil S.O.S". The figure also comes with seven left and six right exchangeable hand parts, allowing you to recreate a wide variety of scenes from the show.
