[Product Introduction] Hot Toys' "Movie Masterpiece" series adds a limited-edition item for Summer 2015 from Hot Toys Tokyo's flagship store, "Toy Sapiens." From the sci-fi film masterpiece "Star Wars," Luke Skywalker appears disguised as a Stormtrooper! Luke Skywalker, a young farmer living on the remote desert planet Tatooine, sets out with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, and Chewbacca to rescue Princess Leia, who has been captured by the Imperial Army. Along the way, their spaceship is captured by a space station called the Death Star, but they "borrow" the guise of an Imperial soldier, a Stormtrooper, and attempt to infiltrate the station. Standing approximately 28 cm tall and featuring over 30 points of articulation, the figure perfectly recreates Luke Skywalker disguised as a Stormtrooper. The newly painted head has been approved for use by actor Mark Hamill. Each figure is hand-painted to recreate the texture of the skin, wrinkles, and hairstyle. The Stormtrooper's white armor, manufactured according to the Empire's strict standards, is meticulously reproduced down to the smallest detail, from the molded armor to the boots with different shapes on the left and right, and the black undersuit worn underneath. The uniquely shaped helmet, which can be held in the hand, is precisely crafted, even down to the smallest details of the interior. The exterior is painted using industry-leading techniques to express the distinctive sheen of the actual armor. Just like in the movie, the cloth utility belt is equipped with a blaster power cell storage case on the front, a thermal detonator on the back, and the grappling hook that made an impression in the movie on the right rear. The holster on the left hip can store the included standard weapon, the blaster rifle. As a bonus, the comlink used for communication with C-3PO and handcuffs to make it look like Chewbacca has been captured are also included! With a variety of interchangeable hand parts, you can recreate various scenes from the movie. The diorama-style base features a red-painted grid pattern, a special design that allows you to fully enjoy the world of the film. Luke Skywalker in his Stormtrooper outfit, where we also caught glimpses of his comical side in the movie, is captured in full in this item that you'll definitely want to add to your collection. This ultimate item is only available at "Toy Sapiens"! "Toy Sapiens" Summer Limited 2015 Special Page: http://www.toysapiens.jp/2015summer/
