Captain America, clad in a new costume featuring the American flag motif, makes his debut! Captain America, also known as Steve Rogers, is the leader of the strongest superhero team, the Avengers, and a legendary super-soldier said to be the world's first hero. The Avengers fought to avert the extinction of humanity from an alien enemy. And after thwarting the Nazi's secret chemical division, Hydra,'s plan to take over the international peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D., he was spending time with the Avengers members one day. However, the peacekeeping program created by Iron Man, Tony Stark, goes awry and appears before them as a new threat. Standing approximately 31 cm tall and featuring over 30 points of articulation, this figure brings to life the legendary hero and leader of the Avengers, Captain America! Two head sculpts are included, both featuring the likeness of actor Chris Evans. The first is a head wearing a newly painted helmet. The second is a bare-faced head capturing a worried expression with furrowed brows. Both are hand-painted to reproduce the texture of the skin and wrinkles. The costume, which has been redesigned from "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," is striking with its coloring based on the American flag, a symbol of the United States, and is exquisitely finished with attention to detail and materials, down to the texture. A helmet part is included as an accessory to recreate the look when the helmet is removed. Captain America's trademark weapon, the super-metallic shield that combines offense and defense, is realistically reproduced in terms of texture, luster, and shape. Magnets are built into the shield, arms, and back, making it easy to recreate scenes where the shield is attached to the arm or tucked into the back, which is a welcome feature.
