Tony himself, haunted by the shadow of an unseen enemy, developed approximately 35 different forms of new powered suits as if possessed by something. Standing approximately 30 cm tall and featuring over 36 points of articulation, this figure perfectly recreates the Mark 22, also known as "Hot Rod," a powered suit developed as a prototype for War Machine Mark 2. This item aims for even greater fidelity to the powered suit by using "alloy" for 60% of its construction. While maintaining the same range of motion as previous Movie Masterpiece figures, it reproduces the texture of the original mechanical armor from the film and the heavy, substantial feel it conveys. The metallic dark gray, silver, and red colors that shine on the alloy, as well as the flared pattern on the legs—the most distinctive feature of this powered suit—are painted using industry-leading techniques to reproduce the texture of metal. The eyes, the arc reactor on the chest, and the repulsor ray emitters on both hands are equipped with white LED light-up gimmicks. The rocket launcher stored in the left forearm can be reproduced using interchangeable parts. Interchangeable hand parts with articulated finger joints and repulsor ray light-up capabilities are included, allowing you to enjoy many immersive battle scenes. The included display stand, common to the series, is a special edition with built-in LEDs. Of course, it's the same scale as previous Movie Masterpiece figures, so you can display it alongside your existing collection.
