Hot Toys' "Movie Masterpiece" series now includes the third installment of the beloved classic sci-fi film series, "Back to the Future Part 3." The DeLorean Time Machine makes its appearance! The car-shaped time machine, commonly known as the "DeLorean," was invented and built by Dr. Emmett Brown, aka Doc, based on the "DMC-12." In the final scene of the previous film, the DeLorean and Doc are struck by lightning while in flight and are sent to 1885. Meanwhile, Marty, who has reunited with Doc in 1955, follows the instructions in a letter left by Doc in 1885 and unearths the DeLorean, which had been sealed in a mine for about 70 years. During this time, Marty accidentally discovers Doc's tombstone and learns that Doc will be murdered about a week after writing the letter. To save Doc, Marty gets into the restored DeLorean and travels back in time to 1885 once again. The DeLorean from "Back to the Future Part III" has been recreated in a stunning 1/6 scale, measuring approximately 72cm in length, 35cm in width, and 25cm in height! The simple yet imposing exterior features a device that replaces the microchip fixed to the hood, gull-wing doors that open and close as per the original, and the futuristic miniature nuclear reactor "Mr. Fusion" and wiring at the rear, with meticulous attention to texture and detail, resulting in an exquisite finish down to the smallest detail. The silver body is painted using industry-leading technology to reproduce the unique metallic feel of a machined finish. The headlights, taillights, and reactor cooling vents are equipped with LED lighting functions. Furthermore, the rotating tires can be replaced with wheels used to run on train tracks. The interior is meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, from the time circuit in the center of the dashboard displaying "Target Time," "Current Time," and "Departure Time," to the switches placed in various locations and the dimensional transfer device located in the center of the rear seat. The built-in LED light-up function allows you to enjoy the same effects as in the movie. Furthermore, a meter showing the temperature inside the steam locomotive's boiler can be attached to the dashboard. A convenient feature is the magnetically detachable tow hook on the lower part of the bumper! Other accessories include an alarm clock. Of course, you can also place the separately sold "Movie Masterpiece" Marty McFly or Doc Brown inside!
