[Product Introduction] The "Movie Masterpiece DIECAST" series, which uses alloy in the body to make it suitable for recreating mechanical characters, now includes Iron Man from Marvel's blockbuster action movie. Iron Man Mark 2, the prototype for subsequent powered suits, is now available! Tony Stark, CEO of the giant arms company Stark Industries and a genius inventor, was kidnapped and imprisoned by a terrorist organization. Tony managed to escape with his life by completing the first powered suit, Mark 1, using whatever materials he could find. Upon returning to the company, he declared that he would cease weapons manufacturing, the company's main business. After that, he secluded himself in his garage at home and developed the Iron Man powered suit. He completed the silver-colored Mark 2, which became the prototype for subsequent powered suit designs. The Iron Man Mark 2 powered suit that appears in "Iron Man" has been recreated as a high-end 1/6 scale figure, standing approximately 31 cm tall with over 30 points of articulation. This item, which aims for even greater fidelity by using "alloy," has the same range of motion as conventional Movie Masterpiece figures, while reproducing the texture of the original armor and the heavy, substantial feel it gives. Two heads are included. The first is a helmet with a light-up function. The second is a helmet that reveals the face of Tony Stark, with the likeness rights of actor Robert Downey Jr. cleared. The armor, which is uniformly colored in silver all over, is made up to the same level as in the movie down to the smallest detail, and is finished with a glossy metallic paint that shines on the alloy. The rear air flaps and leg air brakes can be opened and closed to reproduce the scene from the movie. The waist armor at the base of both thighs can be opened upwards to secure an even wider range of motion for the legs. The chest armor is removable, allowing you to appreciate the intricately constructed mechanical design inside. Multi-barreled guns are built into both shoulders. The open armor on the right forearm, the rocket missiles on both forearms, and the flare launchers on both waists can be recreated using interchangeable parts. The eyes, the arc reactor on the chest, and the repulsor ray emitters on both hands are equipped with white LED light-up gimmicks. By using the included interchangeable hand parts that are articulated down to the finger joints and support repulsor ray light-up, as well as hand parts with firing flame effects that simulate the firing of repulsor rays, you can enjoy many realistic battle scenes. The included display stand, common to the series, is a special edition with built-in LEDs. Of course, it is the same scale as previous Movie Masterpiece figures, so it can be displayed alongside your existing collection. Eight years have passed since the release of the "Movie Masterpiece" Iron Man Mark 2. This item, which has been long awaited by all fans to be remade in 3D and has been reborn in the innovative alloy series "DIECAST," can be said to be the ultimate masterpiece that will take us to the "next level"! *A bonus accessory version of this product will also be released. Specification Change (June 18, 2018) *The shoulder-mounted multi-barreled gun has been changed from a replaceable part to an internal design.
