Pre-orders for this limited edition of 500 units (domestic distribution limit) will begin on August 24th, 2013 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM on the "Toy Sapiens" online site! During World War II, Steve Rogers, a young man deemed unfit to be a soldier due to his frail constitution, becomes the first test subject in the "Super Soldier Project," an experiment to create super-soldiers. After being injected with a serum and gaining a superhuman body, he is reborn as a super-soldier filled with ultimate justice and patriotism. However, due to the machinations of politicians, he is forced to wear a costume modeled after the American flag and used as the military mascot "Captain America" to promote war bonds. Standing approximately 30 centimeters tall and featuring over 30 points of articulation, this figure perfectly recreates Captain America in his military mascot costume—a time when he gained superhuman powers but was not allowed to fight on the front lines. The head sculpt, which has been licensed to resemble Chris Evans, depicts him wearing a mask, and each piece is hand-painted to recreate the texture of his skin, wrinkles, and hairstyle.
