【Work Introduction】
'Copperhead 18' An original story by Kenny Wong, one of the genius designers of "Brothers Free." Kenny himself designed the characters. The world was polluted due to humanity's excessive resource acquisition. For decades, wars were waged by those in power seeking to secure more land and water, resulting in many casualties and a period of suffering that was named the "Dark Century." Furthermore, resource scarcity made continued space exploration difficult, and humanity's exploration shifted to the ocean floor. Then, a massive flood suddenly struck Earth, turning the entire planet into an ocean, leaving only copper as the remaining resource on land. Those who survived the Dark Century and escaped the flood built a new nation 300 meters beneath the sea and began to live there. Helmets made of copper became the lifeblood of humanity living on the ocean floor. The new nation formed "Copperhead 18," a group of 18-year-olds dedicated to protecting the ocean floor environment. Each year, members were selected and sent to the deep sea, separated from their families, for work.
